We build the inventory tool we always wished existed: fast to set up, genuinely simple to use, and powerful enough to let AI do the boring parts.
Why we built it
Most teams track inventory in a tangle of spreadsheets, sticky notes and memory. It works… until it doesn’t — a miscount, a missed reorder, a frantic afternoon reconciling numbers that never quite add up. Existing inventory systems were either too basic to trust or too heavy to bother with.
Simple Inventory Management started as a tool to fix exactly that: keep accurate counts across every location, let anyone scan a QR code from their phone, and make reconciliation a snapshot instead of a project.
Where we’re going
Inventory is the kind of work that should mostly run itself. That’s why we built a Model Context Protocol server right into the product — so assistants like Claude can answer “what’s low this week?” and update stock in plain language, securely and on your terms. We think the best software increasingly knows how to talk to your AI.
