Terms of Service
These terms are a starting point, not legal advice. Replace the bracketed placeholders (legal entity, governing law) and have a qualified attorney review them before you rely on them.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Simple Inventory Management (the “Service”), operated by [Legal Entity Name]. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Your account
You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
2. Pricing and the limited-time offer
The Service is offered at $100 per year. For a limited time, new accounts created before the date shown on our pricing page receive a free lifetime membership. We may change standard pricing for future sign-ups, but a free lifetime membership already granted will be honored for that account in accordance with these Terms. Taxes may apply.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of others’ rights.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
- Upload malicious code or data you don’t have the right to use.
- Resell or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the inventory data and other content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for the lawfulness of the content you store.
5. AI / MCP connections
You may connect third-party AI clients to your inventory. You are responsible for the connections you authorize and the actions taken through them. Third-party clients are governed by their own terms, which are not under our control.
6. Availability
We strive for high availability but provide the Service “as is” and “as available.” We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and we perform maintenance that may cause temporary downtime.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
8. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You are responsible for maintaining your own records and backups of critical business data.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim (or, for free accounts, $100).
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Governing jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. We’ll post the new effective date and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
